![]() Low impact, all solar, no generator, they did have internet connections if you had to have it. Very similar to the "luxury" tented camps of 14-15 years ago. The tents were very comfortable in the camps, not over the top, gushing with luxury, but the food was very good, nice hot showers, plenty of room and great locations. Globally, this place is very good, but You must count with harsh conditions and sometimes slowed and uncommunicative staff. ![]() Dinner was cancelled and the staff wasn't very helpful, because the weren't able to tell us, what is going on, why is everything closed and I had to urge and ask them three times (which took me more that one hour) for a piece of food instead of a dinner. The storm also carried a thousands of scorpions to the camp. We experienced a pure sand storm one evening and it was a little bit challenging, because a dust flies even through the fully covered tent and all our stuff was full of dust and sand. Area is, as I said, very hot a dusty and very windy in the evening, which can cause some problems with sleeping, beause the wind tears with the tent and causes a big noise. Location is superb, is is just a half hour of walk to Lake Natron and one hour to the waterfall. There is central dining area with a delicious food. ![]() Staff is helpful, but sometimes a little bit boneheaded and a lot of them speak wery badly english. Classic tented camp with field conditions, but still clean and comfortable tents and OK services. I think you cannot feel 100% comfortable in the droughty, dusty and glowing area like Natron, but this camp is doing it's best. ![]()
